Gio's Property Maintenance

About Gio's Property Maintenance

Late-summer evenings down toward Barrytown, the freight line runs the river bank and the far shore turns violet before the sun is fully gone. Gio's Property Maintenance is usually still finishing a lawn somewhere in Red Hook when that light shows up — the last pass mown, the trimmer stowed, the drive blown off. Steady lawn work is a weekly promise, and the yards on the list stay ahead of the calendar instead of behind it. Grass, edges, borders, walkways: the ordinary catalogue, kept honestly, one visit after another. When the maples turn, the work turns with them, and the leaves come off before the ground locks up.
