P & T Lawn Care

About P & T Lawn Care

Ravena wakes early — freight moving north toward Selkirk, the Hudson lying a couple of miles east under a flat morning haze. P & T Lawn Care owns the village's June mornings, running the mower down the short grid of side streets off 9W while the day is still cool enough to work in. Lawns here sit modest and close together, which means every edge shows; a straight line along a sidewalk is the whole difference between mowed and looked after. There are bigger properties too, out where the village thins into hayfield and the Catskills stand up blue on the southwest horizon. Cut, trim, blow off the walk, move on — a simple order that leaves a street glad about itself.
