Willis Snow and Lawn Care

About Willis Snow and Lawn Care

At the bottom of Queensbury the Hudson swings hard through its gorge at the Glens Falls line, and on a February night at four in the morning the river runs black between white banks and the whole town is still asleep. Willis Snow and Lawn Care is up in that hour, plowing and shoveling so the drives are open and the walks are salted before the first alarm clock goes off. There's nothing complicated about the pride in it — you leave a driveway that a car can back out of without a second thought. Once the thaw takes hold the same trucks come around for mowing, trimming and the edges, and the yards get their weekly turn through the green months. Snow or grass, it's the same houses and the same standard.
