Glens Falls is built on limestone — the ledge shows in the riverbank, in the old walls, in the way a shovel finds bottom sooner than you would like. Matt's Landscaping & Stonescaping LLC keeps the ground above that ledge in order: mowing, trimming and edging through the green months, cleanups at either end, and plowing and clearing once the pavement disappears. October is the turn — leaves off the lawns, beds cut back, everything squared away while the light is still generous. Then the first storm comes down out of the foothills and the trucks change over. A property looks after itself for exactly no weeks of the year, which is why the calendar matters as much as the equipment.
