Monday morning on the Quaker Road side of Queensbury the traffic starts early and the strip wakes up all at once, storefronts and side streets and the lawns wedged in between them. The Lawn Guru works that corridor and the neighborhoods behind it, mowing and trimming and cutting the edges back off the sidewalks where the grass has been creeping all week. Busy frontage is unforgiving — a lawn there is seen a thousand times a day, and every ragged corner is on display. So it gets the extra minute at the curb and the blower over the walk before we leave. Twice a year the routine widens into a full cleanup, and the property comes out of it looking like the season just began.
