About Turf & Garden Landscaping Inc

The name is two jobs, and around Douglaston and Little Neck they belong together. Turf & Garden Landscaping Inc mows and edges the lawns on the hill above Alley Pond, then turns to the beds — cutting them back, mulching, shaping shrubs, keeping the border between planting and grass sharp enough to read from the street. October is the long month here: leaves off the oaks near Udalls Cove come down in waves, and cleanups run week after week until the yards are bare and orderly. Spring reverses the whole thing, with first cuts, fresh mulch and seed going into anything the winter took. A yard kept on both fronts looks composed in every month of the calendar.
