October turns the maples along Utopia Parkway before it touches anything else. Then the leaves come down all week, packing into the hedges near Kissena Park and burying the lawns of Fresh Meadows two deep. Right Lawn Care works the fall side of the year hard — raking, blowing, bagging and carting, until the turf underneath can breathe and take one last cut before the cold. Beds get edged and mulched, hedges get their final shaping, and the grass goes into winter short and tidy. Come spring the same yards get the reverse treatment, and the cycle starts over on the same blocks.
