Grass-Hoppers Landscaping

About Grass-Hoppers Landscaping

Ridgewood measures its beauty in small squares — a brick rowhouse, a stoop, a strip of grass behind the fence that gets exactly one hour of clean afternoon light. Grass-Hoppers Landscaping works those narrow lots the way they deserve, mowing and edging until the line between grass and slate is a drawn one, trimming the fence bases and clearing the yard at either end of the growing year. Come winter, when a storm slides in off the harbor and Fresh Pond Road goes quiet under snow, the trucks are out before the first bus, plowing driveways, shoveling walks and salting the paths people will need at six. There is real satisfaction in a sidewalk opened up ahead of anyone's alarm clock. Summer heat or February dark, the aim holds steady: a property that looks cared for from the curb.
