About Avila Landscaping

Jackson Heights hides gardens in the middle of its blocks — long green interiors behind brick, shaded by trees older than most of the buildings. Avila Landscaping tends ground like that: mowing, edging, hedge and shrub trimming, bed maintenance, mulch and seasonal cleanups. On a June evening, when the heat finally lets go and light comes down slantwise between the buildings, a freshly cut lawn in the middle of Queens is a small astonishment. The work is repetitive by design — same yards, same weeks, growth that never asks permission — and the payoff is a place that always looks looked-after. That is the whole ambition, block by block.
