Summer in Corona comes on thick and green: plane trees leaning over the sidewalks, backyards deep in fig and mulberry, the long lawns of Flushing Meadows shimmering by noon. City trees carry a lot — traffic, road salt, wires overhead, a century of pavement pressed down over their roots — and they ask for attention before a limb decides on its own. Arnoldo's Tree Service prunes and trims to keep a crown shapely and safe above the driveway, takes down what has gone too far, and clears the mess a thunderstorm makes of a block.
