About Anthony & Sons Landscapers

October in Whitestone turns the ginkgos along the avenues a flat, unbelievable gold, then drops all of it in a single week. Anthony & Sons Landscapers is out in that week and every week around it — mowing while the grass still grows, edging beds, cutting perennials back, raking and hauling leaves, putting yards to bed before the ground hardens. Down by Bowne Park the pond holds the reflection of the whole season, and the lawns nearby need one last low pass to keep matting off the turf. Spring is the other bookend: cleanups, fresh mulch, and a first cut that makes a tired yard look like somebody lives there again.
