About Akanmu Tree & Lawn Care Service Of New York

By seven on a July morning the light in Springfield Gardens comes sideways through the maples, and a whole block smells like cut grass before most of it is awake. Akanmu Tree & Lawn Care Service Of New York works those yards — mowing, edging, trimming and cleanups — and takes the ladder work too, pruning limbs back off the rooflines and removing what a summer storm has ruined. This is a borough of small deep lots, driveways an arm's width from a fence, and old trees that outgrew the houses beside them. There is real pleasure in an edge cut clean along a sidewalk seam, and in a canopy opened up so light finds the grass again. Come autumn the same yards fill with leaves, and the round begins over.
