About Harter Landscaping of Pound Ridge

Stone walls run through the woods of Pound Ridge like old sentences, and the lawns here are clearings held open against a great deal of hardwood forest. Harter Landscaping of Pound Ridge mows and edges those clearings, trims tight along the walls and stonework, and keeps borders cut back and mulched as the season turns. Spring cleanup is a real undertaking on a wooded lot — sticks, matted leaves, whatever the winter dropped — and it sets up everything that follows. Through summer the cut stays even from the sunny middle out to the shaded margin where the trees take over again. When the grass ends in a straight line at the base of a two-hundred-year-old wall, the whole yard looks intentional.
