About LCS Landscapes

Under the sodium lights on a January morning the lots north of the city look like a frozen lake, and somebody has to be out there long before the doors open. LCS Landscapes runs snow work around Poughkeepsie — plowing, clearing drives and walkways, hand shoveling steps and door landings, salting when a storm turns to ice on its way out. Freezing rain is the hard one; it comes in silent and leaves everything glazed. The measure of the night is simple: whether the first car in at seven finds bare pavement. Every storm, all winter.
