Glen Snow Removal

About Glen Snow Removal

East of Poughkeepsie the roads climb, and a driveway on a hill is a different animal at three in the morning with eight inches down and more coming. Glen Snow Removal runs those hours — plowing, clearing walks and door paths, shoveling the corners a blade cannot reach, salt laid where the ice wants to take hold. A nor'easter here does not announce itself politely; it arrives sideways and stays a while. The good part is what daylight shows: black pavement, an open path to the street, a car that goes where it is pointed. Winter work for the city and the hill towns beside it, storm after storm.
