About C. Family Services

Nobody in Pomfret has to be taught what a straight line looks like; the vineyards drew them across these fields long ago, row after row running off toward the horizon. C. Family Services carries that same line into a lawn — mowing that tracks true, trimming close around posts and beds, edges cut so the grass stops exactly where it should. In October, when the harvest trucks are on the road and the hills go rust-colored, the cleanup work begins in earnest: leaves off the turf, beds cleared, a yard set down neat for the cold. There is a real satisfaction in the last mow of the year here. It leaves a place looking loved.
