About Briggs Paving, Inc

Dutchess County driveways run long out here — up from Route 44, around a stand of hardwoods, uphill to a house you cannot see from the road. Briggs Paving, Inc plows them, along with the walks and parking areas of Pleasant Valley and the towns nearby, when a foot of wet valley snow makes those same driveways impassable. Storms this far up the Hudson often arrive as snow, turn to sleet by noon and freeze hard after dark, so timing counts as much as equipment. The good outcome is unremarkable: an open lane the full width, a turnaround you can actually use, the mailbox still standing come March. That is what the plow is for.
