About Kravitz Landscaping

At three in the morning in deep January, the air over this corner of New York comes straight down from Quebec and takes the temperature with it. Kravitz Landscaping is moving in it — plowing out driveways and lots around Plattsburgh and the roads north toward Chazy, salting where ice would otherwise take hold by daybreak. Cold that severe changes the snow itself: dry, light, quick to blow back across an open lane, which is why the second pass is never wasted. The reward is a porch light at six a.m. shining on bare pavement and a clear path to the door. Then the truck goes on to the next one.
