Angelo's Snowplowing & Lawn

About Angelo's Snowplowing & Lawn

The wind that crosses Cumberland Bay in January arrives with an opinion, and the snow it pushes onto Plattsburgh driveways rarely lands where anyone wants it. Angelo's Snowplowing & Lawn works those hours — the long dark between the last flake and the first alarm clock — plowing driveways, walks and lots across the city and out along the county roads. There is a particular satisfaction in a driveway that is simply black again, banks squared back to the lawn edge, room left for the mailbox and the car door. Storms here stack up for days at a time, so the work is measured in returns as much as in first passes. When morning comes to the Adirondack Coast, the pavement is ready before anybody has to think about it.
