Cutter’s Four Seasons

About Cutter’s Four Seasons

Down at Schoen Place the old feed silos stand over the canal, and on a January morning they wear snow the same as the rest of Pittsford does. Cutter's Four Seasons is usually out ahead of that light — clearing driveways and lots, pushing snow back off the aprons, shoveling steps and side doors, laying salt where ice sets up overnight. The village's narrow drives and tight turnarounds reward a patient, careful blade far more than brute force. Getting it right means somebody walks out into a morning that simply looks easy. Storm after storm through a Monroe County winter, that is the point of the whole trade.
