Wendover's Lawn Services

About Wendover's Lawn Services

Late in a Harlem Valley afternoon the light goes long and low across the pastures along Shekomeko Creek, and every mowed lawn in Pine Plains stands out like brushed velvet. Wendover's Lawn Services is out in that hour and every hour before it — cutting on a regular round, trimming what the mower cannot reach, edging drives and walkways, tidying yards in spring and clearing the fall leaves off before the first hard frost. Farm-country properties tend to be generous with their acreage, which only makes the finished look more worth the effort. Nothing complicated about it: grass cut on time, edges kept, debris gone. It simply makes a place feel attended to.
