About STA Excavating & Forestry LLC

East of Amenia the driveways get long, climbing through hemlock and stone wall toward the Connecticut line, and snow on a lane like that is a machine's job. STA Excavating & Forestry LLC brings the iron: plowing the whole run, widening the shoulders before the drifts pinch it to one truck's width, clearing turnarounds where a delivery has to swing wide. Walkways and steps are shoveled and treated so the short trip from vehicle to door isn't the dangerous part of the day. An excavating and forestry outfit knows the ground under the snow — the culvert, the soft shoulder, the ditch line hiding two feet down. That knowledge is what keeps a blade off a lawn and a truck out of a swale.
