About LJ Lawn & Property Maintenance, Inc.

Philipstown climbs straight off the Hudson into the Highlands — Cold Spring's stone streets, Garrison's long wooded drives, Bull Hill standing over the whole of it. LJ Lawn & Property Maintenance, Inc. mows, trims and cleans up properties on that pitched ground all through the green months, then comes back with plow and shovel once the river fog turns to sleet. Winter here is a question of grade: a drive that falls toward the water has to be opened early and treated thoroughly, and it gets both. In summer the reward is plainer — a lawn brought level on land that is anything but, edges cut tight against fieldstone older than the road. The measure is a household stepping out in the morning to find everything already handled.
