Chopper's Lawn Service

About Chopper's Lawn Service

In Fairport the lift bridge sits crooked over the canal, no two of its corners the same height, and traffic has learned to live with it cheerfully. Chopper's Lawn Service works the village streets around that bridge all year: mowing and edging through the warm months, plowing and shoveling once the canal goes still and gray. Village lots are small and full of corners, and corners are precisely where a careful hand shows. In winter those same corners get cleared by hand so the mail carrier and the morning paper have somewhere to land. Two seasons, one set of streets, kept the way neighbors notice.
