About Alfredo Lawn Care Inc.

Winter mornings in Pelham begin in the dark, with the first train south already lit and waiting at the platform. Alfredo Lawn Care Inc. works those hours — plowing driveways, clearing walks, and treating the ice that forms overnight along the village's narrow side streets. Come spring the same blocks green over fast beneath the old oaks, and the work turns to mowing, trimming, and keeping the line along every curb honest. There is a particular pleasure in a driveway opened to the blacktop before anyone has to think about it, and in a lawn that reads as finished from the sidewalk. Between the Hutchinson River and the Mount Vernon line, that is the whole job, and it gets full attention.
