About Castro Landscaping

October in Blue Mountain Reservation turns the oaks a deep rust, and within a few weeks that same color is ankle deep on every lawn in town. Castro Landscaping works to the calendar it sets: mowing and edging while the grass still climbs, fall cleanups once the leaves let go, then plowing and salting after the ground goes hard and the first real storm comes up the valley. The ridge gives its leaves to the wind; a yard needs somebody with a rake, a blower and a truck. The pleasure is in the before and after — a lawn buried on Sunday, open and clean on Monday, ready for whatever the sky sends next.
