Petersen's Patterson Greenhouses

About Petersen's Patterson Greenhouses

In March the greenhouse glass runs with meltwater while snow still stands banked against the north wall — for a few weeks each year Patterson keeps both seasons going at once. Petersen's Patterson Greenhouses lives right in that overlap, plowing and shoveling up to the day the ground softens, then turning to mowing, edging and spring cleanup as lawns come awake. Growing under glass makes a person patient about weather and quick about it in the same breath, and both habits show up in the yard work. A lawn trimmed and raked in April holds its shape all the way to August; a driveway opened in January keeps winter from getting personal. They take pleasure in handing a property from one season to the next without a gap.
