About Victory Landscaping Ltd.

Down in Clayville the road narrows and the hills lean in close, so the yards take their sun in halves — bright at midday, shaded by four. Victory Landscaping Ltd. keeps them mowed straight through the season, working flat village lots and the long sloping lawns set above them. Grass grows thick in this hollow with all the water coming off the hillsides, and a regular cut is what keeps it easy instead of a wrestling match. Trimmed around the foundation, edged along the walk, the clippings kept out of the road — plain work carried all the way to the end. By October the hillsides turn and the leaves land in the yards by the bushel, and a cleanup is waiting.
