ProperFix

About ProperFix

Two calendars run through Oyster Bay, and a property needs somebody for both of them. ProperFix takes the green half — mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, spring and fall cleanups — and the white half, plowing drives and lots, shoveling walks and salting the ice. In July the grass out toward the Syosset line grows like it has somewhere to be; in January that same ground is a plow route before sunrise. Knowing a property in one season makes you better at it in the other: where the runoff goes, where the mower catches, where snow can be stacked without smothering a bed. Either way the result is a place that looks tended, whatever the month is doing.
