About Lou's Landscaping and Snow Removal

The February thaw is a liar on this end of the island. Lou's Landscaping and Snow Removal knows the pattern: meltwater runs across a driveway in the afternoon sun, then locks up hard at dusk and turns a walkway to glass. So plowing is only the first half — the rest is where the snow gets pushed, how the ground drains, and de-icer down before the temperature performs its trick. A storm here can throw wet snow one hour and sleet the next, and pavement cleared all the way down is what keeps the whole mess from setting. When the sun finally holds, the ground comes back soft and green faster than you would expect.
