Oxford is built around its green, with the Chenango River sliding past the edge of the village and Fort Hill rising behind it. C&B Landscaping keeps the properties in between — mowing, trimming and edging through the warm months, cleanups in spring and fall, then plowing, shoveling and salting drives and walkways once the river valley locks up for winter. Chenango County snow tends to arrive quietly and stay a while, which makes a cleared driveway less a convenience than a line out to Route 12. Summer runs the other way entirely: long, humid, generous to grass, the mowing barely letting up between June and September. Either season, the good result is the same one — a place that looks tended and works the way it is supposed to.
