About Lukes.co

Climb any of the streets that leave the Owego flats and the lawns begin to tilt — Southern Tier yards rarely lie level for long. Lukes.co mows the pitched ones and the flat ones both, keeping grass on a regular cut, trimming what a mower cannot reach, edging the drives, and clearing the beds when the seasons hand off. Late May is when it all gets away from a person here; three warm days and one good rain and the yard has doubled on you. There is genuine craft in a hillside pass that runs true, and in easing off before the machine ever scalps the crown of a slope. By the time the truck pulls away the grass is even, the walk is swept, and the house sits up a little straighter on its hill.
