Skully's Turf and Tar

About Skully's Turf and Tar

Saturday night at the Speedway you can hear the field from half the city; Sunday morning Oswego is quiet enough to hear a mower two streets over. Skully's Turf and Tar works the quiet half — mowing on a regular turn, trimming close where the deck will not fit, edging asphalt and concrete so grass and pavement each keep to their own side. Cleanups in spring and fall clear the winter grit and the autumn drop. The name says the two surfaces, and the work is really about the line between them. Get that line right and the whole yard reads sharp.
