Stand on the Bridge Street bridge and Oswego splits neatly in two — river below, weather arriving from the left, half the year on either side. Manwarings Lawn and Snow works both halves: plowing and shoveling drives and walkways with salt where it is needed, then mowing, trimming and edging once the ground firms up. The changeover happens fast in this town; there are Aprils that still hold snow and Novembers that still want a last cut. Cleanups in spring and fall carry the handoff between them. Whatever the month, the measure stays the same — the driveway is passable, the lawn is even, and nobody had to think about it.
