About Carpio Stone Work & Landscaping

Ossining is stitched together with old fieldstone — retaining walls holding back front yards, low walls running the property lines, stone steps climbing to doors set well above the street. A lawn that meets stone shows every wobble, so the mow line and the edge have to be cut with some care. Carpio Stone Work & Landscaping does that close work: mowing, precise edging where turf meets wall and walk, trimming, mulching, and the cleanups that open and close the growing year. Early morning is the hour for it, dew still on the grass, the cut coming up dark and even behind the machine. The route covers Ossining and the neighboring Westchester villages.
