About York Lawn Services

Late in an Ontario August the wind turns and comes in off the lake, and the evening finally lets go of the heat. That is the hour York Lawn Services likes best — the last yard of the day, stripes running out toward the road, clippings drifting down, cut grass thick in the cooling air. The work follows the town's own rhythm: weekly mowing straight through the long green stretch, trimming close along fences and mailbox posts, then raking it all down when the maples on Ridge Road decide to let go. Yards near Casey Park take a lot of foot traffic and show it, so those get overseeding and a feeding to bring the thin patches back before frost. A lawn kept this way reads well from the sidewalk and better from the porch step. Ontario is a town of neat frontages, and keeping one that way is worth the hour.
