About Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc.

Every creek in this town runs the same direction, north and downhill toward the water, and after a heavy melt you can hear them working from the road. Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. keeps the year in two halves: mowing, trimming and edging while things grow, plowing and shoveling once they stop. The name is a promise about a line, where turf meets concrete and where a plowed lane meets a snowbank, both of them cut clean or not cut at all. Regulars get the same truck and the same eyes on the property, which is how small things get caught before they become big ones. Whatever the calendar says, the standard doesn't move.
