About Heff's Property Services

Out toward Durhamville the old canal still lies in its channel, the towpath running straight and green beneath the maples. Heff's Property Services works the entire year along that stretch and back into the city — mowing, trimming, mulching and seasonal cleanups through the warm months, then driveway and lot plowing, walk clearing and ice treatment once the towpath is just a white line through the trees. Snow out on the lake plain arrives sideways and can bury a morning without warning. The truck gets loaded the night before, which is why the drives are open by the time the school buses start moving.
