About Gardeners&Landscapers

Munsey Park in May makes a short, extravagant argument for living on Long Island: magnolia petals across clipped lawns, dogwood coming on right behind. Gardeners&Landscapers works with hands as much as machines, the mowing and edging certainly, but also weeding, pruning shrubs back into shape, turning mulch, walking the borders through the spring flush. A gardener's eye catches what a mower cannot: the volunteer maple hiding in the hedge, the bed line that has crept two inches into the turf over three seasons. Those get corrected quietly, visit by visit. By June the yard looks as though it was never anything but composed.
