About FJ Landscaping

Cow Neck tilts toward the water, so half the lawns in Port Washington are hillsides pretending otherwise. FJ Landscaping cuts them across the slope in careful lines, the string trimmer working the retaining walls and stair edges where a mower has no business going. August is the hard month up here: humid air off Manhasset Bay, grass surging after every thunderstorm, beds wanting a weeding twice as often as they did in June. The crew stays with it, cutting, edging, clearing, carting the debris out. Late in the day the harbor turns silver, and from the top of the yard you can see exactly how straight the lines came out.
