About A&S Enterprises Landscaping Patios & Yard Drainage Company

Winter reaches Niskayuna along the river first — the Mohawk going slate-colored at Lock 7, the towpath disappearing, and then the long driveways off River Road vanishing by morning. A&S Enterprises Landscaping Patios & Yard Drainage Company works those hours, running plows through driveways and parking areas ahead of the first commute and coming back with shovels for the walks, the steps and the mailbox aprons. Salt and sand go down on the shaded grades where the low sun never quite lands. The measure of a good night is a driveway opened wide to the pavement, corners clean, nobody late for anything. When the next band comes up the valley, they go out and do it again.
