Norway Automotive & Plow

About Norway Automotive & Plow

The road out of Newport toward Norway gains height fast, and by the time it reaches the open ground up top the snow is moving sideways across it. Norway Automotive & Plow keeps the driveways along those hills clear: plowed wide, corners cut back so a truck can turn, walks shoveled down to the step. Drifting is the local problem more than depth — a lane can be bare in one spot and hip-deep twenty feet on, so the passes go where the wind put it. Salt and sand handle the glaze that forms when a Herkimer County afternoon thaws and the night takes it all back. Getting out to the main road every morning without a shovel in hand is what the season asks for, and it is what the work delivers.
