About 518 Turf Busters LLC

West Canada Creek comes down out of the foothills past Newport, and on a July morning the mist lies on the water until the sun finally finds the floor of the valley. 518 Turf Busters LLC works the yards along that run — mowing, trimming and edging lawns that slope from the road down toward the creek flats. Valley grass grows fast on that bottom ground, so the schedule is kept tight and the cut is kept even. There is a plain pleasure in a finished lawn with the hills stacked up behind it and the water sounding somewhere below. Newport is a small place with a big view, and the work tries to deserve both.
