Tome's Auto Repair and Snow Removal

About Tome's Auto Repair and Snow Removal

In Newfield the snow piles up first on the high ground, whitening the long slopes toward Connecticut Hill while the valley along Route 13 waits its turn. Tome's Auto Repair and Snow Removal keeps a foot in two worlds: a repair shop by trade, with snow removal ready when winter takes hold in this hill town south of Ithaca. Clearing snow here means getting out in the dark, pushing drives and lots open so the morning can actually start. A driveway scraped down to the gravel while the rest of the road is still white is its own small triumph. Even the old covered bridge on Main Street looks a little friendlier when the way to it is open.
