Ruger Landscaping and Snow Removal

About Ruger Landscaping and Snow Removal

Newburgh's streets fall hard toward the Hudson, and in a January storm those grades turn every block of brick row houses into a test of nerve. Ruger Landscaping and Snow Removal handles the cold half of the year here, plowing and clearing so driveways, walks and lots are passable when the city wakes. Across the water Mount Beacon goes white, and the lights of the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge string a bright line through the falling flakes. Good work shows on these slopes at once: a crisp cut at the curb, steps cleared down to the stone, a path that does not send anyone reaching for the railing. When warm weather returns the company turns to landscaping, but winter is when this hillside city most needs a blade.
