Frankie’s lawn service

About Frankie’s lawn service

Friday, last yard of the week, a cul-de-sac where the pavement ends in a circle and the trees start again. The trimmer winds down, the blower clears the last arc of clippings off the concrete, and for a minute the street is quiet enough to hear the sprinkler two houses over. Frankie's lawn service runs a route like that across Newburgh — mowing, edging, trimming and blowing, one yard finished before the next one starts. A single truck means every lawn on the list gets the same pair of eyes on it, which shows up in the edge along the driveway more than anywhere else. Then the ramp goes up, and Monday the circuit begins again.
