About Par 5 Landscaping

The slopes below Cronomer Hill run long and open, and on a June evening the low sun lays the shadow of every tree straight across them. Par 5 Landscaping keeps those wide lawns and the smaller ones down in town — mowing on a rotation, trimming the perimeters, edging the drives, and clearing a yard back to bare turf in spring and again in late fall. A big lawn rewards a straight line; a small one rewards a careful corner, and both are worth the time it takes. New Windsor offers just about every kind of ground between the river and the ridges, sometimes on a single property. Cutting it so the whole thing looks deliberate from the street is the craft of it.
