About Marcio's Lawn Service
Out past Rock Tavern the land flattens and the sky gets big over the airport fields, and the wind crosses it hard enough to take your hat and half the clippings with it. Marcio's Lawn Service works those exposed western yards along with the sheltered ones closer in — mowing, trimming, edging, and the seasonal cleanups that follow the weather rather than the calendar. Open ground dries faster and burns sooner, so cut height shifts as the summer wears on; that one adjustment is the difference between a lawn that holds and a lawn that gives up in August. On a clear day out there the Highlands stand up plainly to the south while the mower makes its long straight passes. There are worse offices.
