About Ted Chavez Complete Landscaping Service

The first warm week of April, when the geese are back on Huguenot Lake and the ground finally gives underfoot, is when New Rochelle lawns decide to wake up all at once. Ted Chavez Complete Landscaping Service meets them right there, with the season's first cut, the winter debris raked away, and edges recut along the walks and drives that went soft over the cold months. From then on it is the weekly rhythm through the summer: mow, trim, edge, blow the clippings clean off the concrete. A yard that gets that first spring visit on time looks better in July for it. There is something hopeful about the opening cut of the year, the smell of it hanging over the whole block.
