About Derrick's Landscape LLC

By early November the maples around Beechmont Lake have let go all at once, and the lawns of Rochelle Heights disappear under a foot of red and yellow. Derrick's Landscape LLC works those weeks hardest — blowing the leaves off the turf before they mat and smother it, clearing the beds, cutting the grass one last short time so it goes into winter clean. Leaf work in this part of New Rochelle is a matter of terrain as much as volume; the ground rolls, the wind stacks everything against the walls and hedges, and a yard has to be walked twice to be finished. What is left afterward is a property stripped back to its bones, edges visible again, ready to sleep. Come spring the same lawns get mowed, fed and edged from the first warm week straight through to the heat.
